Enlarged Prostate
This condition known as benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) generally affects older men. Prostate is part of the male reproductive system and lies below the bladder. When this gland enlarges it constricts the urethra that carries urine out of the bladder. This causes increased frequency of urination, especially at night, difficulty urinating, weak stream and inability to empty bladder.
This uncomfortable condition is easily treated with medications, minimally invasive surgery and laser therapy.

Prostatitis
Prostatitis is a swelling of the prostate that can be quite painful. Chronic prostatitis progresses slowly and causes chronic pelvic pain. Acute prostatitis caused by an infection, can set in suddenly.
You could have prostatitis if you have urination problems including pain or burning sensation, increased frequency, difficulty or sudden unstoppable urge to urinate, cloudy, discoloured, foul-smelling urine, lower back, abdomen, groin or genital pain, painful ejaculation or flu-like symptoms.
It is treated with a sustained course of antibiotics for about 4-6 weeks or longer and medication to relieve urinary difficulties and pain.
Prostate cancer
Prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers in men. It may either progress slowly without causing any problems or may spread aggressively. Early diagnosis and treatment give good results.
Symptoms include urination problems, blood in urine or semen, bone pain, erectile dysfunction or unexplained weight loss.
We offer minimally invasive surgery, chemotherapy and palliative care for best results.
